Criteria

In order to apply for this programme you

• Must be a professional artist, curator or art critic being displaced by the war in Ukraine.

• Can document exhibition experience or commissions for public art projects in a professionally recognized context.

• Must have applied for a residency permit in Denmark under the Special Act on displaced persons from Ukraine (documentation is needed).

What we offer

This program seeks to offer a professional framework in the form of guest accommodation, workspace facilities and professional exchange with local artists, curators and art critics. The aid we can offer is based on resources and availability and is currently being adjusted according to the number of artists seeking residency / artistic contexts. The length of the stay will vary. So will the actual content of the offer in terms of residence facilities, workspace facilities and networking opportunities.

This program will try to support you by covering the costs related to the artist in residency, workspace or networking activities that you will receive through this program. Basic housing and living costs are expected to be covered by the Danish immigration authorities.
